Wrapping the car at Iron Knob, local school kids then wrote all over the wrapping	Rea Weir Mumford # 24 with it's new nose and wheel discs fitted	A closer shot at # 24's new nose
David Waight's, Rea Weir Mumford and Ray Charlton's roadsters	Casey Hill's ( New Zealand), Mark Hadfield's Mustang and Geoff Rea's coupe, park waiting at the end of the 2 mile course to cross the course	Hi-boy model A from Perth
stopped in for the week to take a look at the racing, did not run	Brian Nicholson's team "The Moe Boys" posing beside the fast AX coupe	Norm Harding's (Aussie Deserts Cooler owner) newly completed big block Ford powered '34 roadster
John Lynch's Belly tank beside the new team bus	Leigh, Tracy and Madelaine Fielder's Bonneville record breaking Pontiac	Chuck Salmen's pit area, great to see Chuck and his team along with Mary West back again.
Unfortunately only made one pass for the week, as the engine let go on that 250 mph pass.	Little Suzuki out of Queensland was running an 550cc (33.5 cubic inches) DOHC 12 valve inter-cooled turbo 3 cylinder for a very impressive 108.692 pass	Mark Hadfield's stunning Mustang was back running hard
'36 Ford coupe ute looked good racing acrooss the brilliant white salt surface	Rod Hadfield's recently sold Studebaker only made the one pass during the week, but ran over 200 mph just the same	The Stamp racing roadster ran well all week, with a number of driver's, Chuck Salmen even had a steer in it late in the week
Kevin Saville was back with his team of die hard's and the amazing blown 6 cylinder Holden powered lakester		Alan Murchison's amazing twin engined streamliner blew every one away.
		Ray Charlton's history making Duece roadster (Ray is now a member of the Charlton high speed spin team)
Dave Waight's model 4 cylinder powered gas modified roadster sitting in front of a similar race car	The unofficial Mount Ive pursuit car, operated by sheriff Jim Beam and owned by Mick McNally, those Moe Boys are always up to something	A new car at the meet this year was Kenny Rhodes old timey Willy's 4 cylinder powered belly tank
	This stock as a rock Suzucki managed to peel off runs around the 175 mph mark	Dave Tattenall's bike ran as hard as ever and was up for sale with a $4,500 price tag
Lucky Keiser had this year fitted a Ford 302 V8 to his streamlined bike and it ran easily over 200 mph, it was great to see the bike get a real big speed after Lucky has persisted with the thumping cut down Merlin over the years	The pairing of Vansittart and Spurway had their beautiful '52 Triumph back and this year got it to go faster than it had done on it's first trip to the salt last year	Mal's Vincent was another new bike at the lake this year and this old classic ran as good as it looked, up around the 120 mph Mark
Phil Arnold's flying single cylinder was looking to make some runs that would make it the fastest single in the world	Yet another fast bike, this one had some beautiful aliminium work done by it very talented owner	Dennis Manning's "BUB" streamlined bike was simply amazing.
Always great to see vehicles and bikes that are so well built, well engineered and run real fast as well
