Had ECU problems Norm, didn't get a run, really disappointed but we'll be a goer for 2019.

Re: Commodore Valuables
Hi All, just an update. We have the new dry-sumped V6 Chev installed. We have a G-Force close-ratio 4 speed with a 1.195:1 3rd gear. The motor is substantially bigger because of the canted valve heads, we've had to modify the bodywork. We've moved from a total loss cooling system with a water tank t...

Thanks Dave, I'll have to get It done here, we usually go north via Renmark, lower grades make the tow easier.

Fire system certification
Hi All. We've got 2 x 5kg ColdFire bottles. I've always used John Nightingale down at Wormald in Hallam who has always been helpful, it's just the best part of a day trip, twice... Wondering if anyone has suggestions for someone on the north side of the city or anywhere between there and Bendigo.. C...

It's over four years since we posted here, hi :D . We've got some news. The Spirit of Sunshine won't be at Speedweek 2016, we aim to be back for 2017...that kind of fits our schedule so far, two years on, two years off. In 2013 we ran 215mph, 2014 we ran 205mph and realised we had to make some chang...

Insurance for Bonneville
Hi everyone. I have just spoken to President Norm Bradshaw and alerted him that we have a company prepared to offer a 25% discount on travel insurance to DLRA members WHICH WILL COVER YOU TO RUN AT BONNEVILLE. This will also act as a general travel policy. You can also use the company to cover you a...

I did a project recently with my students to create a CO2 canister powered racer to compete against each other on a 20m timed track. Loosely based on the 'F1 in schools' challenge which annually pits 9 million students against each other to produce a CO2 car using STEM (science,technology,engineeri...
