Re: Shaguar

Gaz has been flow testing the V12 using a firefighting pump. First one with all 6 outlets open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btcgxXSHRac From Gaz : Coolant flow through head with rear welch plug removed. This was just a test with a firefighter pump to see the difference in water flow from front t...

Re: Shaguar

The 3D printed part Paul shared above was a failed test piece to check for print quality at this orientation. The parts are printing much nicer in their re-oriented position. Quick in progress video with a couple of stills at the start, this is only a short run due to the colour change to be sure th...

Re: Shaguar

My Photobucket account is long gone. I deleted all the images and killed the account when they went in for corporate extortion. I'll sit down and sift through the posts I put up with images and try to marry them up with images again. I didn't give this thread a thought when I ditched it sorry. They ...

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400 E/Pro

Not much to see at the moment, inside is chockers full of junk as is the boot. Some bastard threw a rock over the fence and cracked the windscreen but for now it's essentially a stocker covered in dust.

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400 E/Pro

Yes mate, Been crewing for Gaz on the Jag but missed Speed Week for the last two years (but did help prep and load the car in 2015), one when we lost dad and the next when mum was to have an operation and I had to look after her for a couple of weeks. They postponed it 7 days on the Monday, typical....

Re: Mats

The trouble with any form of soft matting is it doesn't effectively spread the load across the full surface as a rigid matt would do. The heavier the vehicle is only compounds the problem. Constant working up and down of the salt by repeat traffic brings the water to the surface, much the same as wo...

Re: Mats

I'm also pretty sure these are to prevent erosion/mud rather than provide support? I don't think the current mats are rigid enough to provide adequate load distribution across their full area for our situation. I've been looking for a source of Marsden Matting to get some as a trial but so far it's ...

Re: VL Commodore V8 DLRA car with log book

It's a moot point now as unless the rule has changed, any protest must be filed and paid for prior to the end of that meet. That and Max's (E/Pro) record was broken this year by someone else in a black VN. For what it's worth however, this was it in 2010 and running only E/Pro. Was this rule in the ...

This just came from Colin Clare via Gary Satara. I have been in conversation with Colin since the accident. He is wishing to pass on the following information for distribution to the wider audience who are no doubt concerned: Trent has been without sedation for the last 4 days. His breathing is supp...
