Hi Dave
I was going to get round discs cut out of custom wood,with a round hole in the middle
i was then going to glue these discs onto a dowl or tube
then tack on some thin wire ribs&then plaster cast over the ribs
this will be the exact size of the belly tank
the make a mold off this

Thanks everyone for there input I think i will get some drawings from a B52 tank&use a CAD program to draw up a plan of sketeton(to make a mould from).Get a joinery company to cut it out on a CNC from custom wood.Then get a fiberglass mould made. I am looking at using a Nissan VH45&twin turb...

Belly tank help

I am keen on building a belly tank,similar to John Lynch&Alan Fountain
I was wondering if there is a fiberglass mould out there for the body,a good web site/book that i can get onto for idears for chassis&syspension etc

Streamliner Bike Help

I am considering building(from scratch) a Streamliner V8 bike similar to Lucky Keizer Merlin Streamliner.I have a few idears kicking around in my head(mainly how i will do the motor&drive train)I was just wondering where i should start&where i can get some pictures/idears?

Is there a cheap way to the salt?

Is there any idears how to get a vehicle(Streamliner V8 Bike)to the salt from NZ I am thinking of building a V8 streamline bike&bringing it over,could anyone suggest how to get it there cheaply?I was thinking about puting it&all my gear into a 20ft container&having it shiped to the salt ...
