Re: 1700 HP Big block

Races regulaly, Strikeforce boat run by Gerry and Don Gulley.
Two skiers and 80 km and longer races.
You don't invest that type of coin on a dyno pony!

The flying pencil looks rather sad, like the look you get when the Hostie says Brace Brace Brace, or is that just me.

Re: Longford Flying Mile

The Longford Pub is worth a visit. The walls are covered in history on the event and it was an amazing 'Street Circuit' before concrete bareers and safety were invented

Re: THE LAKE WITH NO NAME

Worth investigating more Ross.
Bourke is not that far

Looked up paper map, Looks like the Warrego River runs into it and appears to be on Romani Staition. or close to it. Its not drawn as a lake on the map though.

Be good to see you again Keith.
So do you have a rule that says something like "try never to race the same thing twice" :)

Re: new to the sport

G'Day ya bloody idiot. Welcome aboard you'll be in good company.
Go the KE30. Less frontal than a valuable Commodore therefore faster and unless it scares me a bit its not interesting. Bottom line if ya got one in the driveway its a start.
Good luck
Chris
