Re: Importing Race Cars to Australia
Hi Greg, I have used Rob Thompson here in Adelaide for my engines and parts over the years and found him to be very reliable & reasonable cost wise. He imports cars, bikes & boats and has brought a few race cars in over the years. Check out his website. https://www.hemi.com.au/importing_cars...

Re: Lake Gairdner condition report July 2018
I can see that the left cone has DLRA written in fine Texta on the base so I guess that someone missed picking it up after this year's event!

Re: Two way runs for 2019
Looking good Greg, I concur with the popular choice on existing records.
One question:
Is there a limitation on what mile speed trap would be the limit to the proposed rule? 3, 4, 5 & 6 mile sectors.

Re: Lakester Project - Going Forward
Hi Rodders, Have already cleaned & checked over the car with all turning out OK+. Given the relatively soft tune we had for our first go on Methanol we made improvements with every run although not increasing the overall speed. Valuable data obtained will hopefully lead to some changes in the fu...

Re: Target 550 for 2018
We have just spent a great couple of days up at Lake G with the core Target 550 team members, and the word is GO!! This does not mean that we may see some exceptional runs from this car from the outset, but rather we will witness the methodical process whereby something that has as yet, never been a...

Re: SOUTH AUST. MEETING & SATA INFO DAY
Hi Glen, Things are a bit quiet at present as far as getting together is concerned with the holiday period upon us and preparing our racing equipment for the 2018 Speed Week. The SATA (South Australian Timing Association) is being wound up and we are reverting back to having social get together's as...

Re: DLRA Speed Week 2018 Volunteers
Whilst totally agreeing with these comments, I, who would like to take a spot at this job and having spent a few years as the Chief Timer fully understand the importance of the role: however am at somewhat of a dilemma. Now being a competitor, I cannot predict when my availability may be due to the ...

Lakester Project - Going Forward
I am currently reviewing options regarding my lakester project and the future of how I can continue to run the car at Lake Gairdner given that we are retiring from South Australia to Richmond in Tasmania inside the next 18 months. With a considerable amount of time (and $$$'s) invested in the projec...
