I still don't have the entry form or supp regs for FIM. I ended up getting FIM Charlie involved and to his credit I did get a little murmur ...

Re: Bush Fires

I have heard a rumour today that Speed Week has been cancelled due to the bush fires. This is nothing more than a malicious rumour. Speed Week HAS NOT been cancelled and preparations continue, full steam ahead. There was a bush fire on a neighbouring station (but this is now out) and some ash did fa...

Umbrellas

What's the most popular way to keep drivers and riders cool while they are waiting at the Start Line? An umbrella! Go out and chuck some in the trailer now! Consider buying or making your very own cool suit, there's plenty of ideas on the web. Please remember it's your responsibility to provide your...

Re: VY Commodore fun.

G'Day Charlie, You've done very well and definately now have a list to tick off. Still it will cost you $5-10,000 by the time you buy all the safety equipment for you and the car depending on how much you can do yourself. The silver colour isn't an issue, so long as it's got some contrasting colour ...

Re: FIM,FMN ?

Entries will not close at least until February. There is provision in the FIM regs for late entries up to 3 weeks before. Where did you see they close in 2 months? As I have said previously I am trying to at least make this event cost neutral for the club. I have received costs from medical and fire...

Re: Phase out of leaded fuel by September 2019.

I don't know why this is all so hard, all of a sudden, Nothing has changed about the definition of fuels in the rule book for years. "The DLRA defines gasoline to contain no nitrogen bearing compounds, no propylene oxide, no ethylene oxide, and no more than 10% methanol." The only thing that is new ...
