Re: Two way runs for 2019

Understand what you are saying and why you would want to do it that way. As the rule is currently written it says. 1.G AUSTRALIAN RECORD RUNS: Two-way average records are established by a two-run average over the same relative or physical mile, depending upon course conditions. Only the fastest aver...

Pre-Race Lake Inspection Report

Michael Brixton, Peter Noy, Korey Bligh and Steve Vorwerk were on the lake today and found it to be in very good condition, hard, dry and flat.
This confirms that Speed Week 2019 is most definitely on.

Looking for characters....

I have been contacted by a producer from SBS. "I'm making a story about SPEED and why we like it so much. If you could connect me with some characters/racers, who are competing at Dry Lakes that'd be great. I can roam around on the day at the raceway and interview people on the go but it'd be helpfu...

Re: Pre-Entries have closed

Please do not post or email your late entry now, bring it with you to the salt. Make sure you have completed the Hazardous Fuel Register Section. And have 2 copies of the Materials Safety Data Sheets.
Same goes for Volunteer Nominations.

Re: Fuel signage

Only fuel this year, I'm just trying to get entrants used to the whole idea. By the regs it's supposed to be all flammables (FUEL, OILS AND LUBRICANTS), some have done it for this year and they are probably used to the process because of the industry they work in. I have downloaded as many Material ...

Re: Fuel signage

There will be a sticker for your vehicle and a placard for your pit in your entrants pack. The fireys will be coming around to check entrants pits and where necessary advise them of how they can be safer with storage and refilling. All fuel containers in your pit should also have stickers on them, t...
