Re: World Speed Trials Australia

Hey Ron
I would interpret this to mean that your leathers were "All Leather" and not half leather and half textile
2.11.10 apears to be the common sense clause

Graham, if you are watching, where would you prefer to see it from a safety perspective? Cheers! From a safety perspective, put it so...

Re: Gas Turbine streamliner

OK It's just, looking at where the exhaust comes out in the video, I can see small a problem. When you're at the start line you may have some issues I would've thought the exhaust coming out the top would've made more sense with the added downforce and it not pointing at the spectators, crews, and s...

Re: theTRUTH

I don't know if you noticed the VW powered bike in the pits. It had a low center of gravity and a long steering angle.
It also spent a lot of time lying on it's side.
Bill, I like what you've done with the sidecar wheel supports. was it worth any MPH

Re: theTRUTH

Walkingpace; Yeah, love that sound ... I ran one with the original 4 open headers and loved every minute of it. That bikes in Salt Lake City waiting for another go some time. I had assumed that my main bearings were shot on the CB750 I have here. Could be a shitty oil pump though. They have a sumpi...

Re: theTRUTH

I'm no expert either. I built my LSR sidecar mostly out of bits I had laying around. I cut down forks from a 650 Kawi. Head angle is 45deg. It isn't anywhere near as fast as you are planning to go No suspension. I found it unnecessary. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/833/img2635t.jpg Ni...
