Re: Longford Flying Mile
I'm heading back, entering the S14 again as everything else is in a million pieces.

Re: Longford Flying Mile
It's taken me a while to find this (I was looking for something else...) but it might interest you blokes... There was a car at this event that was quite special. It was listed as a 1947 Ford Special, though it might have more accurately been dated nearer to 1951 when it emerged from its constructi...

Re: Longford Flying Mile
Hi Shane, good to see you on here. I'm not around here often as salt lake racing is still a bit of a pipe dream for me at the moment, it will happen one day though, no matter what it takes, I'll get there. If you ever need any information on aero stuff for your car these guys are the people to ask. ...

Re: Longford Flying Mile
I've not been on here in a while but thought I'd drop in to say hi in this thread. I was down at Longford with Dad in his 200SX daily driver, he and his brother had a Barry Zephyr Special they raced in Tassie way back when including at Longford, the precess is under way to try to get the Zephyr back...

This even got a brief mention in MX of all places! No mention of their Australian competitors for the record though, you would think they could have at least put a sentence in about Roscoe and co. If you think that is funny, check out Bloodhound's latest video: m Basically they are admitting it is s...

Street car on salt
Hi guys, I'm just after some pointers for things to look at when preparing a street car (or street-ish car) to run on the salt. I'm not going after records or anything so I'm not so much interested in modifications to get more speed, just safety requirements and anything I may need to do to fit into...

Thanks Reece, I have directed him to this build thread so he may be here asking questions some time. He is still very much in the conceptual stage, reading as much as he can mostly, he's pretty good with cars and engines in general (mostly old Peugeots, I'm pretty sure he could build one from a heap...

Yeah, paying for it all can be a tricky business. We are aiming for 2012 or 2013 so hopefully we will be out there to see this machine, for my money I think it's almost worth while adjusting our timetable to be there when you are, I have a bit of a soft spot for the weird and wonderful. (A friend of...

Introduction
Hi Guys, just a quick post to introduce myself. I'm a member of the Australian 300ZX Owners' Association and the Nissan/Datsun Sports Owners Club in Melbourne, I have a mildly modified Australian delivered Z32 300ZX in which I do a bit of circuit racing and a few hillclimbs but it's mostly a weekend...
