the car runs twin 700 hp turbos. which combine into a 4.5 inch exhuast system. you would be right in saying you can use oval shal exhausts. i am aware of another big hp supra that runs a 5" inch oval exhaust system. (mainly for clearance reasons) I may have to look at exiting the exhaust out th...

Question for building under tray (full car length)

Hi All, i was wondering of those that have built custom undertrays for their cars to make the underneathe all flat to prevent drag and to prevent lift. what material they used? carbon fibre? aluminium? and what thickness is recommended? any info on undertrays would be greatly appreciated. that sounds like a good idea. i have lost one flight through jet star, but the one i booked thro quantas is sitting in loom. so maybe i will have to do something along those lines.

i am just reading the rule book in regards to exhaust. it says that the exhaust must be directed away from the driver, fuel tank, course and tyres. does this mean i can not have a screamer pipe (waste gate) unless it also releases at the rear of the car? becuase currently it realeases under the car ...

There is no class for street cars as such. Your car must meet our safety requirements, including roll cage , fire system etc, build to the specifications listed in the rule book. As Rob stated, come for a look , then decide what you want to build. There are plenty of members who will help you along...

Welcome aboard HA, It'll take several reads of the rulebook before you really start to take eveything in. Best bet is to make it to the lake at least once before you jump in, it will give you a feel for things & let you ask questions of officials in person plus chat to those already "doing...
