Re: Phase out of leaded fuel by September 2019.

Yep Totally agree. Event Gas is the way forward. Has worked at Bonneville for a long time. As long as the gases chosen can cover more standard low comp vehicles and the high compression/ boosted motors, it has to be a good thing.

The question really is what is Legal Yes/No . VP seem to have 4 non oxygenated unleaded fuels that may suit. C9,C10 QM...

Re: Phase out of leaded fuel by September 2019.

Gday Greg
Just wondering if there is a list of legal Unleaded fuels that have been tested ? Or even a list of fuels that have not passed ?

Re: Phase out of leaded fuel by September 2019.

Hey Greg
Can you tell us the maximum allowable oxygen content in an Unleaded fuel for it to be legal with the DLRA please.
That will help a lot in deciding what we can use.

Re: Phase out of leaded fuel by September 2019.

Hey Greg
Have been running Avgas in the Vincent for about 12 years. As with Chris and many others, I'm also very interested in the a alternatives for replacing Leaded . Alternative politicians may be a better solution.
Cheers Mal
PS No, we will not be running Nitro

Re: 2017 Satellite Imaging

About 8 years ago myself and Col Kranz with our young boys got onto the southern end of Island Lagoon . It was ROUGH going . Re: Airborne Recon

So while waiting for parts and other things to arrive decided to have a look at the condition Lake so Friday morning we headed South and met up with Kranzy at The Iron Knob turn off. The road heading out was, as always dusty as hell and rough for the first 20 km . After that the road seemed to be in...
