In regards to insurance, can we approach someone like the AASA for event insurance.

AASA is an alternative to CAMS and has a more user friendly structure.

Also AMSAG run under the same insurance that AASA use and it's basically what CAMS use but cheaper.

Lake George is no good. I tried to get authorisation to use it for part of a rally and for a khanacross and I was told by the local council that it was off limits for motorsport.

I think we will be running in production class. The car's modifications are minimal, we have stripped the carpets and fitted a hydraulic handbrake. Full roll cage and also equiped with a plumbed in fire extingiusher system. I'll be able to remove things like the sump guard and have plenty of adjustm...

Seems like a big hit from the spammers in the last 4 days, must have got onto a forum database somewhere. There have been 3 new spammers sign up while I have been online tonight.

I will look at a way to stop it. I'll report back tomorrow night.

Cheers

The Revolution racegear triple layer suits are good stuff, I have one and have competed in many hot events where we have had temps over 40 degrees and still felt ok. It's correct that the underwear layer's and a balaclava give good protection against fire, I think the CAMS peoplewere saying that the...

I want to run my Charade, have to get the new engine built though. Maybe a bit more time in the shed instead of on the computer.

Holidays are booked though. So whatever I will be there.

Cheers

Another good strip in NSW is Cootamundra, I think Wheels Magazine used it a few times.

It's only an hour and half from Canberra.

I'll have a chat with my brother who works for CASA, he might have some contacts to help us get a strip to use.

Cheers

Daihatsu Charade GTti

Hi guys, I'm looking at running my Charade next year. It's currently a 2 door 1991 model Gtti 3 cyl twin cam turbo. It is a Group A rally car with full cage and all the race gear including a plumbed in fire bomb. I have fitted an after market computer and removed all carpets but still have all other...

Basically it would be forming sub committees in each state, so no new constitution changes. Quite easy to do.

Gary,

If you need help, I'm not far away in Canberra. Have plenty of experience building Rally cars.

I'm in the ACT and am looking at joining the club. Would be able to help look after an ACT/NSW chapter.
