Re: Lake condition as at Dec.27th

We left early saturday and heard the news about 2 hours out of Adelaide. Decided to make a long weekend of it instead and visited the Yorke Peninsula. It was very pretty, then we took the scenic route to Mildura, and eventually today made it back to Melbourne, Via Swanhill. Pity it was called off, b...

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400

No worries, I'll keep an eye out. Im in two minds about the Supra brakes. While they are awesome, they are also pretty restrictive with a minimum of 17' wheels and they have to be certain shape at that to clear the calipers. I still have the Original TT brakes around and If were making all these mod...

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400

Yeah Im coming, but just as a spectator. I already own a JZZ30, and figure it would be great as a salt/street car. I've only driven it a few thousand Kms over the past 3 years, so thought it'd be a bit of fun in PS class. Ive taken it to 240Kms before on a track, and it wanted to keep going but my p...

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400

Any news on this? How did you go with the cage?

Were thinking of entering a Soarer, maybe in 2012. However it'll be a twin turbo 6.

Did you end up using the Camry rims?

Re: Road conditions into the lake

Thanks for the Info all, Im not too worried, Ive done a fair bit of off road driving before. I was going to take the 4x4 anyway but Im on a novated lease, and I need to get the Kms up. If I dont, Im basically paying for the trip to the salt and back in tax. Its a diesel i30, and even at its worst ec...

Im coming in hyundai i30, so it had better not be too bad!

I guess a lot of people come in with car trailers, so it wont be too rough.

Re: Who`s ready,?.

I've just removed the link to the online rulebook. It's now out of date and we don't want people using it. We do have hard copies of the 2011 SCTA rulebook, which is much closer to the mark. I think these are available from the DLRA, $10 each, give Carol a call. Thanks, Ive already purchased two co...

Re: Who`s ready,?.

Hi, Shaun, there is no street class. Nearest thing will be Production class. Check out the rule book to see what is required re roll cage, safety equipment etc. It is a sure thing that if you go once, you will be bitten by the dreaded "salt bug". Cheers, Pete. DLRA #6 Ah, where was I read...
