Re: Speedweek 2016

Hey Greg, Chris Lieschke is one of our ROCK guys and took some top quality shots. I will get him to send some through sometime this week. I have some footage too.
Is there any update on trophy winners?
Thanks, Shane

Re: Fuel Line

As gennyshovel said the fire proof sleeve is the best way to go and is available at most auto stores in a range of sizes.
You only need the fire proof sleeve if you plan to run in fuel classes.
We will usually carry some in the pits or at tech.

Re: Hot weather prep

last year was testing for all of us, in the pits and back at camp. Two of the racers pitted with us were over the age of 72 and they both held up fine powering through the heat wave. They were eating fresh fruits and drinking tea for most of the week which helps a lot. The best way for us to keep co...

Re: Wheels Magazine Thrust Land Speed Article

oh yes!!! How spectacular would that be to watch and to feel the rumble through the ground.
Our great salt lake seems huge compared to Bonneville but how far do they travel?? The longest course I have seen is 12 miles long.

Salt temp

I am doing some research into tyres and the extreme conditions we put them through, Michelin are asking some technical questions now and i need to know did anyone have any idea of the temperature of the salt on the hottest days of racing this year??
Thanks

Re: Tachometer problem

thats an odd one Ronnie, did you wire the autometer to the std tach wiring?? I wonder if its a coil pulse interferance issue but you wouldnt think so when running coil packs. I will look into it tomorrow and see what we can come up with.
