Hi Jonno
Looking good... you must be pleased, but are you going to finish in time?
We're leaving Pirie at 10:00 Saturday.

Hi Jonno
Is old yella running yet & will she be on fuel or petrol ?? MF or MG ??
Don't forget if you are running fuel you need covered fuel lines & fuel shut-off that can be operated without taking your hands off the bars...
Go MG with the Water Bottle....

Re: normal force a weighty issue
Hi Guys
I am also trying to add ballast to the front but having trouble finding space.... it would be easy to add weights to the fork tubes, but I'm unsure of handling problems.... any advice on that option??

Re: Vespa Dry Lake Racer lives...
Hi Johno The best thing about Aussie LSR is doing it your own way. With a faired bike I feel ground effects are worthwhile considering to lessen the bike's uplift & this mainly comes belly pan design, low ground clearance & attitude. Also, ballast is an obvious consideration, but with an unf...

Re: Honda MG & MF 750
Hi Johno I very much enjoy talking to people about their bike mods & I always seem to learn something, but mostly my air-brain ideas come from books & simply having a go! … I’m not saying my ideas are good or even work, but I enjoy my time in the shed with the bike & my mates. I’ve liste...

Re: Honda MG & MF 750
Hi Johno I pad welded a standard Suzuki head to fill the domes & then machined the squish profile on a CNC mill, by a contractor using my 3D model drawing. The finish looks good. The squish clearance should be 0.8mm & CR 12:1. Can’t wait to check the squish clearance & volume…. tonight’s...

Re: Honda MG & MF 750
Hi Jonno Been watching your build with interest, as you & I have similar vintage bikes, mine being a 1977 Suzuki GT750. I'm looking forward to seeing competitors from '70s up against each other & I looking forward to going faster than a Honda ;-)... seriously I am happy to share ideas, as lo...
