The outer skin of the mold has been sanded smooth and ready for the urithane now just waiting for slightly cooler days .

The marine ply ribs are dry and everything is hard. The first couple of strips of 2mm balsa have been fitted to what will be the top of the bottom half mold. I will post pics when i can work out how.

It was ment to be a zzr1100 motorcycle set up but i have been given a 2012 suzuki 500cc engine so i will run with that till i can afford the busa engine.

After several design mods I have started on the molds for my belly tanker. The car is going to be a slightly stretched p38 tank size going from 12'6" to 12'9 1/4" the extra 3 1/4" is to allow for a self designed all wheel drive system. At this stage I'm waiting for the ribs and spacer...

That wont be a problem. My exhausts are exiting from the sides chute from the middle.

My good Dr. Thanks. Both options cost about the same when you include mounting hardware ect. And both have almost identical square footage. So i will take your sugestion and go the single. Will be posting pics soon im construction im starting the mold this weekend.

Could you send some pics on how you hid the shutes? If i can incorperate it into a p38 size tank then yay for me. Also saves a lot of heartache with trying to make tubes aero.

I chose a bike motor for simplicity reasons and the zzr motor has a lot of spares locally. It's not a motor i had lying around i am still trying to sorce a good one from the wreckers. There is another one called speed pro its in the app store and free. It displays current speed. Records max speedand distance. On the down side though it is to the nearest mpf or kph. I have it on my phone and use the speedo in full screen.
