Re: Impound. Whats allowed ?

Good questions Ronnie, As I had a heated discussion at the BMST in 2017 when the official would not let me change the oil in the blown 100cc. He reason was "what if you are putting better oil in it, we dont know what went in", I said "why the #### would we have not run the good shit t...

Re: Proposed change to track 2

Our two bikes cannot get up to speed in 1 mile. Bonneville 20017 the Rookie track was 1 mile to 2 mile we ran 101mph, then went to the next track timed 2-3mile and ran 107 without thrashing the guts out of gear changes etc as we were on the Rookie track. Maybe the slip Peter got sent was the Rookie ...

Re: Some implications for social media posts

I think the Forum and the FB page both serve the DLRA well and are used by many for different reasons. The Forum is def more structured content and easily referenced and maybe should be that only financial members can comment. It did take a hit once we started putting some time into the DLRA FB page...

Re: Speed Week 2020

We could run both events 2020 & 2021. However I would not be keen on only 3 days as it leaves little time for any issues to be sorted. As we are not interested in the FIM event due to cost and there small cc records are not up to the current levels of DLRA or SCTA.

Re: Two way runs for 2019

I am a fan of the two way run record setup as run at Bonneville. My issue however is that our event is only 4.5 days long and unlike Bonneville which is 6.5 days long. I feel with the shorter event it is very time consuming to run two run records. We also do not have the luxury of El Mirage once a m...

Re: Motorbike Class Methanol & Turbo

As Mr Stayt said, run it as is, check the place out and get use to it the wind her up for 2020. Note you will still need to download rule book as many changes needed to stock Busa to comply with LS Rules.
