Re: theTRUTH
Hi William, Yeah, it has been a while between drinks! I've started a new bike since then ... finances being somewhat problematic ... bit of a bitsa, made from what I could find laying around the workshop, some GSXR750, some GSXR1000 (about a decade inbetween models), a bit of ally here and there and...

Re: theTRUTH
Hey Harkey, Haven't seen the Paris Dakar (this year), but electric off roaders are going great guns in general! Theres a purity to them that I imagine is a little like sailing vs motor boating. Oh, I'll be in the long bike queue in 2022 ... something about once you go long you never go back, is that...

Re: theTRUTH
Hi Everyone, Hope all your preparations for 2022 are going well. I've just realised I didn't do a post event wrap up ... which seems a bit rude. I've also got some kind-of-big news for 2022, so here we go! On the way out from iron Knob I was following a big truck when I hit the big sandpit ... lucki...

LS3 motor, fuel and electronics from theTRUTH
Hi All, I've gone electric so the LS3 from my racebike "theTRUTH" is available to a good home (or an average or bad home if you prefer ... would go great in the back of a Porsche 911 for example, or an RX7). I bought it brand new from Holmart in Melbourne and it's done 5 runs so has about ...

Looks brilliant! Also can’t wait to hear it run.

Cheers!

Re: Speed Week 2021 Update
Great news all around! Really appreciate all your hard work in pretty horrible circumstances. Let's hope the authorities have similarly good news on the 25th.
Cheers!

Hey Guys, Another fairing update ... This first image might be disturbing, if you see an icecream truck thats fine, but if you see a robot bunny rabbit kissing a shark you should probably reach out to professional help ... http://www.russelllowe.com/PhD/theTRUTH/Fairing/theTRUTH_FairingUpdate_Rorsch...

Hey Stayt'ie,
Awesome! Is that the one by Walkingpace? His looks a lot like the old Widowmaker's by E.J.Potter.
Be brilliant seeing both near the start line at the same time.
Cheers

Re: theTRUTH
Hi All, The right side is going remarkibly well ... in part because practice makes perfect, but mainly because Wray Schelin's Flexible Shape Pattern technique is so intuitive. Where the upper left side took all day to make the upper right took a couple of hours, with most of that making the pattern ...

Re: theTRUTH
Hey Guys, Apart from some triming and detail work the left side is done ... well, done enough to take a pattern off it to make the right hand side. She fought me a bit, and is a bit different from the buck (I think there were some shape transitions implied by the buck that wouldnt actually work in r...
