Re: Record Updates
Not sure how this thread became about checking engine capacity,we clearly don't have the time or the people to be doing this at speedweek. What I said before was "why aren't record runs backed up? Bit sick of seeing records set and no other runs within 25MPH." Competitors should have to ba...

Re: Record Updates
Hooray at last! I have been wondering when someone was going to pickup the fact that some of the motorcycle records in PG ( Pushrod Engine: Gasoline class) have been set buy bikes with DOHC engines. For example P/PG1000 set on a GSXR1000 Suzuki and P/PG1350 on a GSX1300R Hayabusa. Also why aren't re...

Re: Longford Flying Mile
I agree Jim, it was a awe inspiring demonstration of brass balls that I witnessed, and regardless of the start line, it left me picking my jaw up off the paddock. Crazy stuff indeed. I took the time at the end of the event to introduce myself and shake the mad mans hand after his last run. Like you ...

Re: Longford Flying Mile
Hi all
Also gotta say that I can't wait till next year when everbody starts at the same place and there's no more crying about Grants Hayabusa being 40 odd K's faster than everbody else. Doing 291 kmh (not 281) on that bumpy track was no mean feat regardless of where he started!
Cheers Jim

Re: TEST & TUNE WEEKENDS IN S.A.
Hi all Here's a link to my friend Lionels MPS/G1650 ZX14R Kawasaki at the track on saturday. Spun the wheel pretty hard through 2nd gear, and at about the 900 meter mark his foot came off the right footpeg and he ended up off to the left of the track where the bump is. Pretty scary stuff. Hope you e...
