Re: 200 MPH Achievers
I think the "must be record" is designed to add some exclusivity to classes where the speeds regularly go over 200mph, plenty of classes in the US need 250+ to get a red hat (actually, can we get a hat?) Though honestly I'm biased as a member of our 200mph club. (maybe I'll buy a hat and ...

How to build a 1000 mph car
this is an article in this weeks "new scientist" on breaking the sound barrier. Well worth a read. Might need a sponsor or two if you want to give it a try. http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20427356.000-the-race-to-build-a-1000-mph-car.html?DCMP=NLC-nletter&nsref=mg20427356.000

For mine, the biggest problem is trying to follow the DLRA rule book and the RTA rego rule book at the same time, it's so much less constrictive if you forget about the fastest registered, and just go for fastest! DLRA rules are for safety for you, RTA rules are alot more 'diverse' and often seem co...

I'll have to track you down at the salt for a few nitrous tips, I've added nitrous to my 454 for the first time this year (as well as alot of other changes and alot more hp), and information can be a bit thin on the ground. I saw the car in jan 05 Hot rod, but it had a blown 400 back then. p.s. got ...

Great to hear about your Camaro coming to Australia, you should be able to fill in a few blanks in the AA records with that piece of kit. I'm just happy I didn't go for the bigger engine on my last rebuild. Any Idea of HP? or should we just wait for the big white dyno? I've been reading Freiburgers ...

Re: Where is everyone???
Gee, haven't seen the board so quiet ever! Is everyone building madly?? rH+ Yep, I'll sit in the shed and finish my 12:1 roller cammed 454 this weekend, (watching bathurst) then off to the engine dyno next week, and a quick trip to Bob Bowmans (Stan) to sort out the top loader, B4 it all goes back ...
