The lake and the camp aren't the worst issue, the canteen will be the best place to pick up some germ or other at mealtimes.

I meant to say this earlier (when I got home, actually).
Whoever was responsible for the effort at the lake entry this year deserves a big pat on the back.
It would seem lessons were learned from last year, and this year the whole process was better all round. It was a fine job.

The weather station shows the heatwaves building and waning, but the best bit is only 3.3mm rain for December so far. I just pray that it stays dry and hard.
