more info on the airstrip at jackson, forget it, damn., one of the workers who knows what is going on walked the strip yesterday and had trouble in staying up right the bitumen is so bad totally falling apart.

hawke the strip im talking about is a work camp called jackson in the south western corner of qld. it is owned by santos and is not used, i have my contact finding by google earth the co-ordinates and the phone number of who to talk to perhaps be able to use the strip. lets keep our fingers crossed....

i have been informed today about a disused bitumen airstrip at a work camp up north called jackson. its disused because its breaking up in places and the pilots are refusing to use it . it is evidently 3.5 klms long. i am trying to get more info on this but does anyone know the place. nev
