I have been slowly collecting snippets of Australian Motorcycle LandSpeed history, with it in mind to compile a book when I decide to retire,, so if anyone out there has anything related, please contact me :D

I have been watching the BOM rain radar, it appears the southern (our end) of the lake has had a lot more rain than whats been recorded at Mt Ive :roll:

Question for Grumm,, Leathers,, from memory, previously the rules stated that "one piece" leathers were required, now, 2.11.1 (page 36) the wording is "complete",, is a zipped together two piece, complete ??

Thanks Greg,, when I was talking with Jim, got the feeling it wasent just a walk in the park,,

Bonneville at just over 4000' knocked me a bit, although seem to be ok with it now,, Sala de Uyuni at 12000' uummmm, guess its "you will never know if ya never go" situation :? :)

My thoughts are that if you are using conventuial telescopic forks, rake is your friend, due to the instability (non stiffness) these forks bring,, there was no way with tele forks you could go over 80mph without experiencing the heebeegeebeese, a fork brace (stiffness) soon made things more comfort...

Russell, would it not be better to have the water up front with the fuel midships or there abouts ??, reason being that during a run the depleating fuel load (weight) wont have as much effect on wheel bias ??,,

Gary, 8cc that's a bummer,, mate, for a quick/cheap fix could you desleeve one pot ? the speedway boys used to do that on those old motors, just as long as the pistons weigh the same it wont be a problem,,
