Good points Dave. I looked over my records from a few years back when we ran the old wired timing system and the best average over the whole week was 12 minutes per run. Best runs in a day was 116 when we had ideal conditions and no equipment failures. I think that we got the first run away by 8:00 ...

Not really sure what aircraft the spinner is from as I have been working on getting this Meteor V12 ready to run for the Greenock Aviation Museum and it was up in the storage loft so I borrowed it for a trial and it looks perfect. :wink: :wink: http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Quickhemi/2014-03-...

The photo tends to distort the actual angle of the steering tie rods and the front end isn't at the running ride height. No way I can see the rack ever bending. Hopefully the front suspension arms will be ready to pick up from the laser cutters this coming week and I can then put the project on 4 wh...
