Re: 2014 Times/Records
I'm very pleased to have broken the M/VG 650 record on Tuesday with 106.755 mph but thought the 110.667 mph the following day would have become the new record??

Re: 2014 Times/Records
Only a very minor point but I think most people would describe the colour of my bike as yellow, not white.

Re: M/VG 650 record
No need to answer this as the record is now held by a pre 1956 bike .
However, I think you will find Chris is the rightful owner of the `M/G 650' record.

Re: What's happening on the salt?
I got back yesterday afternoon. As far as the Triumph boys went; Pete Vansittart holed a piston on Monday. JD (Zork) couldn't get the Trident running as well as last year. Douglas Kieth ran a 155 mph on the Rocket 3 and was going to run again yesterday and he run a 120 mph on the Triton. Phil Eggles...

Re: Honda MG & MF 750
You know how it is Johno, if it wasn't for the last minute nothing would ever get done
You'll get there. We're looking at setting up `Triumph HQ' with all the Triumph boys but if you want to join us we can set up `Yellow HQ' next door

Re: 50 T-Bird
Fired up the Thunderbird today, first time since speedweek last year. Got a bit of tuning to do once we get to the lake but other than that we're ready to go. New mods for this year are a different head with T140 inlet valves and the twin carbs, pictured below. http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/af9...

Re: weather
The rain has been hit and miss. So far Woomera has had 6mm, Pt Augusta 9mm, Whyalla 14, but Wudinna has had about 70mm and Streaky Bay 110mm. The rain seems to be mainly down south so hopefully the lake has only had about the same as Pt Augusta/Whyalla. The radars are showing the worst of it has pas...
