Sorry to be the one to highlight this All roads into the lake were shut mid to late yesterday doesn't mean they wont dry out in time , there is no hot weather for the next week http://www.dpti.sa.gov.au/OutbackRoads/outback_road_conditions/area_2_gawler_ranges sleep with everything crossed !! harky

yep all serious stuff I had a hand squirter / misting bottle that made me feel better ( cheap to ) cold water ed towel around the neck this is not understood by some but you can OVER hydrate ie drink too much , some of the recent deaths on the KOKODA track have been put down to that https://knowrisk...

Gary I had similar problem , with my M4 motec , had offers of old pc s but they came with "problems" this place was good , at least it came with some sort of "guarantee" I had a hard drive failure after about 3 months and they sent me another one hope this is of use http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/notebo...

just received and read WIZARD of OZ by Clinton Walker this was published 2012 and tells the Wizard Smith and Don Harkness land speed story , some good photos ---- compliments others already on this site worth a read , no mention of any Oz salt , mind in the 20 s & 30 s getting to any of the sites we...

Johno I run a 110/80--19 ZR ( bridgstone) on the front of my old GPZ , you can thank Harley V rod for that ---------see they are good for something !!!! the rear for me is120 /90 --18 shinko , that I have shaved , used a finely serrated blade from a key cutting machine , fitted to a 4"angle grinder ...

Repco have 5w 80 channel CB s this week for $119 -- normally $ 260 for any one only needing one for
speed week -----= bargain --------- and I don't work for Repco

ok In my head is a universal streamliner capsule , ie the front end of the liner that you bolt any power plant to the back . so ---the 14minutes of a million bees noise --- where is that ( france?) and what distance are they running ? some seem to have some serious power !! the technique for take off is interesting ------- could be painfull to the boys bits !!!
