interesting I drove and worked on sigma s and Datsun s with chargers that blew through the carby (with mods to the carby ) These were Japaneese kits , the brand I have forgotten , they had 3 / 5 lbs of boost and the torque change was really good , which is what you are after , keep us informed harky

Been some good debate & food for thought Im still with Ross , I think for the small effort , wearing a balaclava ( fire restintant) is something I will do The day temp in FEB @ the lake can and will be an issue for us all , but in a set of leathers we will all have to be hydrated and on the ball 50c...

thanks pete for the mention , some might see this as a bit over the top , My leathers now have No perforations and I will wear nomex as well ( might have to loose a few kilos to fit) I have high pressure fuel system ( injection ) betwwen my legs and while I ( and the rest of us ) are fussy about fue...

They unstiched and replaced the strechy bits with a very soft and quite thick leather , they do really nice work , and yes we all have a budget so have to juggle how and where we spend our $ s , I crap on so much with " If you have a cheap head you buy a cheap helment " so have to follow through wit...

Paul i have a set of Dainese leathers -- they were new from Peter Stevens @ a real good price, but like alot of leathers they had stretchy in the arm pits and crutch , ( they are non perforated leather ) I had http://www.waldenmiller.com.au/ ( they are in Adelaide ) fill in with leather the stretcky...

ebay ed from US ----3 days and they turn up on your door
a thing to know is the large I bought in their place shrunk alot when washed in cold water --- just fit

I will be going , the forcast is quite good for the area ---- although if it changes for the worse I will reconsider
I intend only to do a few runs early-ish Saturday and leave about midday
There hasnt been much discussion ----- hope their are enough to cover the costs!
