Stryker Sorry mate - the camping fee quoted is for the DLRA camp at the shearing sheds. The campsite near the canteen is a different price mentioned elsewhere in a recent thread. The $20 salt access fee is for the week I believe. Make sure you do bring a tarp as if you don't you may have to walk mor...

And now he's gone and bought another couple of V12 XJSs for their motors (not because he was running low on rust).

The car will still be running the blown Cleveland next year but it's looking more serious that the car will eventually end up with a Jag motor and some hairdryers....

"Pauls the cleancut tall Queenslander." Don't call me a Queenslander! I still cheer for the Blues. I just live here! Queenslanders are the guys who drive 10 ks under the limit on fine days and 20 ks under on wet ones - usually in the right hand lane of the freeway.... Anyway, Paul's the ov...

+ Thrust SSC run at Black Rock partially because of the surface. The playa surface of Black Rock got pounded into dust by the high speed runs generating shock waves. It may not survive a similar run on extremely hard salt??? I wouldn't want to find out. Somewhere on YouTube there is a video from a c...

Dee Start time is flexible but early. It could be anytime after first light depending on wind conditions and when all required personnel are at their stations. Finish time is 5:oopm max. Cars run depending on their owners timetable - meaning when they are ready / feel like it. Having said that there...

You might want to drop the sunscreen off at the admin tent - it is a much needed item out on the lake. Last year I forgot to apply the cream EVERYWHERE and got a bit of sunburn under my arms from sitting in the shade. It seems even more painful when you get sunburn where you normally don't get it. M...
