Re: MOTORCYCLE RETRIEVAL TRAILER
If I'm not working at the start line or timing van, I'm happy to donate some time to doing spotting/recovery work. I'll be there, barring cock-ups, on Saturday arvo. Who do I have to speak to?

Re: Volunteers - Timing van
Hey Lynchy, I accidentally double booked myself for Wednesday afternoon (I'm not a "morning person" :D ). I'm booked as timers assistant and also race directors assistant. I guess Charlie will have lots of helpers, so can you scrub the race directors assistant off the calendar for me? My m...

Re: Volunteers - Timing van
Hi there, I'm a just-joined-up member (I forgot my member number but...) and computer literate.
I'm more than happy to do a stint at timing. Put me down on the register mate, I'll be there.
Tom Fieldhouse.

Re: Lake condition and forecast
Are we there yet?
I'm bringing a couple of newbies, so I hope the stinking heat and lousy rain stay away.
I checked with the satellite mob, but there's no new photos as yet.

Re: 2013 Moments
The highlight for me was Brett coming away relatively unscathed from his high-speed off. Mucho relief.
Anytime someone gets dealt a good hand like that makes me happy.
I can't wait to see Brett have another crack at it either.

Re: What are you Planning???
Since we are being asked to dream a bit here, I wouldn't mind slotting a 625cc LC4 motor into a streamliner body, similar to the one Lucky Kaiser has ( but very slightly larger), and seeing just how fast it might go. I reckon one of those motors is good for somewhere over 150mph, they love to rev an...

I, for one, thought you did a sterling job mate.
I didn't notice anyone else stepping up to the plate either.

Re: Speedweek 2014
On the subject of the heat, I found the Sunday prior to race week the worst. I was raised in South Australia, so I am accustomed to the dry hot summers, but on the Sunday at the DLRA campsite I had probably the worst day outside ever. I drank more than 5 litres of water, and somewhere over 15 cans o...

Thanks for the update Rob, much appreciated. That's a relief.
240 is pretty neat for a 35 yr old bike (albeit modified). Here's hoping his bike fared as well as he did, I look forward to seing him ride it even faster again.

I was told Brett de Stoop had a fall on Friday morning.
Does anyone know how he is faring? I hope he is OK.

Thanks for the update there Greg, much appreciated.
I hope the rain and storms we are getting in the ACT are a million miles away from the salt surface.

Re: SPEED WEEK CANCELLED !!!
Here's a mildly dopey question. :P I would reasonably assume that merchandise has been produced for this years event. How would one go about obtaining some, and what is available? Thanks. PS Also interested in salt DVD's if anyone is selling them. I saw mate Kev Saville has some Bonneville ones and ...
