I think you are all good..
The discount is subtracted from the top amount 749cc minus 33.3 percent equals 499cc
so you are well within what you want to do..

Chris Kent Riches of AIRTECH explored the knife edge fairing to this limit. It was tested and ridden by John Noonan about a year ago. It crashed at around 270mph .. Being a flat head you are given a 33 1/3 percent discount which will put fit you in 500 class
and after checking the record book. you will be M/VG 500 which is an open record...

If you are going to build it oversize, it would make getting it there difficult. It would probably pay to have anything you get made Gal dipped? Perhaps we should start a trailer thread?
