Re: It lives
:D :D I know what you mean Dave, I had an AV gas lap of the lane, taller gearing needed a bit of clutch & throttle play resulting in 5,000 revs and 100+ db, the return was a feeble attempt of discretion, but the "hunting" translated into slow motion chain snatch, all good, mission acco...

Re: Supercharged CBR250 build
The bit that hurt, was the fact that those valves were new, and made of almostunobtanium, @$888 a set,if ya lucky,,I got REAL lucky, and found 10 x intake & 10 x exhaust on gaybay (in a weird section), buy now of best offer, I offered $200, and got 'em :D I just used the last of 'em  As fo...

Re: It lives
That pesky leak would have the potential to upset your A/F readings Dave, not a good thing for an over stressed engine to deal with (and survive)

Re: Heatwave information
To retain my sanity, could anyone please remind me why we race during the hottest part of the year ? Air density ? Hard salt ? (or in the hope the sun can dry wet damp salt) To beat the windy weather ? What were the problems we encountered in relation to holding the 25th event late March, rather than...

Re: CB Radio..
Now that the wizbang 80 channel UHF radios seem to be taking over the world, how well do they work with the "old" 40 channel units ? (I need one for the newly acquired 4 wheeled sacrifice to the salt gods)

Re: Mats
Yep, they are really good, seen them in use at our local Ag show, but they are not an easily transportable item. They need to be laid and then filled with something, sand, gravel, salt etc. So will need a loader or bobcat or something. Not sure how the powers that be would be with that??? Cheers Ia...

Re: Crosswinds
Yeah Rod, the topic is well worth ongoing discussion, I was hit my an invisible air blast in 2006 while flat out on the postie, front end went 1st, followed by the back, lucky for me I was closer to the right of the track, I was quickly deposited on the left side, then before I decided what to to, t...
