Re: more ebay
I'm a little suss on that car being classed as a lakester as the leading paragraph of "special construction" says "modified production bodies are prohibited" and that looks to be using a production style body at the rear.

Re: pit shelters for adelaide based racers
Just speaking from experience Harky. You see lots of gabled shelters but you never see any shitty old lookin ones, whereas there's some pretty manky lookin ones with flat tops. The last two meets I have put mine up, and left it up the whole week, no problems. I've only been to five meets but I've se...

Re: Al Fountains Lakester is for Sale
I dunno Doc, Al's no skinamalink (that's him on the right) and a couple of taller team members have driven it too. Not sure if he has seat adjustment in there, another seat or what. That's really, really cheap.I think it's a tight fit for a big guy but you couldn't build that car for that.

Re: pit shelters for adelaide based racers
If I've said it once I've said it more than once  buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut , a gable roof is a waste of time. If you are capable of building a race car you are capable of building a shelter, when you do make it with a flat roof because that will protect it against the wind gusts that wreck ...

Re: Hi i'm new.
If you have a look here ( http://twixt-two-wheels.jalbum.net/Spirit%20of%20Sunshine/) I think the third shot when we are in tech you can see the doors on top of the tail, then go back to the second shot and you can see the doors open when the car is in the trailer.....I often wonder whether we'd hav...

Re: Hi i'm new.
Hi Rob,
it seems that rule is specifically about parachute tubes. Our chute lives in a bucket inside the tail under two doors.... Would have been a heartbreaker to have to just put it in a bag on top of the tail, from beautiful aero to drag city........
