slicks or tread.Use the thinnest tyres suitable for the rims or go to narrower wheels just make sure u have the CORRECT SPEED RATING for the speed u want to achieve and STEEL VALVE STEMS
I use 2.5x18 drag slick on the front ,130/80zr17 rear My R1 steers verry well.

hi everyone. leathers are fine after the crash in march,not so much color on one side though but they will be as bright as ever next march. no stiching was worn through, knee wore through 1 layer, but was mainly due to riding sidecars. I have one of these things.I was told to open acet tap on torch tten open reg so flame just stands off tip.Do the same with oxy.This is ment to set pressure.It didnt work too well for me Lots of popping.May be better with new regs,mine are old.I went back to old cig setup

Hi Ben If you want a seat like on my R1 I think Greg wants one so I could easily have 2 made.Maybe the rear tyre is too wide? Speedway use taller tyres for more traction. Sounds expensive to cut ,weld and straighten a frame.Do you have the mold for kermits seat/tank?

Garth04 do you remember it having any handling problems?A mate of mine,Jock Williams, was helping on the bike and became very frustrated with the whole setup. Jock said it steered well but the engine was no good. Any idear what would not pass inspection now? Thanks

Does anybody remember when John Vevers brought a streamliner to the salt.? It only did 91mph. Why? I spoke to him . he said the streamliner did close to 200 in testing. Did it have any major problems? hope the memories are still good. Bones.
