Pete,
Put me down as a starter. Should be 3 of us in attendance.
Are you going to run a raffle again? Do you need give aways?
Fred.

Folden
I see I has the right motor in it too. I suppose they had to think about that name a bit too. They could have called it a Foden but then that would have turned it into a truck wouldn't it. Some period wheels on it and it would look good . Twelve slotters or even those five slot Kelseys would look be...

Tech Inspection
Thanks to Cookey, Pete and also Des Jewis for making the tech inspection happen today. It was good to have someone else's eyes have a look at what I have been doing over the last few years on my midget. Thanks to all for the sausage sizzle lunch. Hit the spot nicely except that I had to wash it down...

Always loved US style flattrack racing . Some of the hairiest racing you will see anywhere. Could say its real drifting! Not this stuff they promote these days which is motorsports response to synchronized swimming. Style points . What happened to the idea of first over the line wins

Looks like "Seth Efrica" is to be the site of this LSR attempt. Shame they aren't coming to SA and Lake Gairdner.

Slaughter Streamliner
Well here goes. Given we are talking about a BFS streamliner the record for which is a sizeable chunk of Mach I and the name Slaughter conjures up images of knives, my nomination is "MACH THE KNIFE". Great old song done so well by Bobby Darin. The lyrics seem to fit too. m My 2 bobs worth.

Mind you, Don's the idea of retiring to the Barossa and Clare Valleys to bench race is not entirely wi...
