Thanks Greg, I think 15 mins for some of the faster cars will be a bit tight. It might mean their support crew will need to be at the deep end ready to tow them back before they run. Play it by ear first year I guess and fine tune if we need to.
Stayt'ie F100's only have headwinds.

Re: Two way runs for 2019
Heh Greg, can you clarify this. "• A qualified vehicle shall proceed directly to the designated impound area and report to the impound official within 15 minutes of the time stamp on the timing slip." My question is when is it stamped? When it spits out of the printer straight after your r...

Re: Phase out of leaded fuel by September 2019.
The point is comparing it to the equivalent SCTA class Dave. I am 5mph odd faster than them in D/PP and within 1/2mph in C/PP in our fat air. No one else here is running Pickup and there is no challenge in an open record if we 'create' another class.

Re: Phase out of leaded fuel by September 2019.
Hi Greg
I run VP fuels C14+ in our 300ci Windsor. It has 13.00:1 comp so this is beyond the range of avgas. I will be interested to see if we can come up with an unleaded that will comply in gas class and equal the performance of C14+.
The F100 being a pickup has no option but run in gas class.

Ha ha, the back wheel. Russell, yes saw Dennis Mannings the first time it was here. Brite shiny streamliner with these add on skids in bare metal hanging out the side. Obviously last minute. You need them to park.

Re: theTRUTH
I love it, a bike with the right number of cylinders. The best of both worlds. Towing it from pits and post run. There is pressure from some in the club (and for some good reasons) that might make this mandatory in the future so might be a good move. We go there to race, not drive to and from the pit...

Re: Two way runs for 2019
Why not maintain "one way records" as a local track record and create "Australian records" as 2 way runs.
A lot of us have invested a lot of our lives to achieve the records that we own. To have these suddenly discounted or shelved would be unjust and unfair.

Sorry Paul, that record would need to be FIA certified. This meet is FIM motorcycles only.

That equates to 2/5ths of F/All or .0625 of F/All for the younger members.

Re: Another V8 bike
You seem to have the right plan. The salt is not a place that hands out success easily and much more so demands patients. You can have all your ducks in a row only to turn up and mother nature says well come back next year. A truly testing place in many ways. Stick with the plan.
