Running K7 forks for height and better trail geometry Checked the front forks ...K7 forks as they are a bit longer ( which is what I want) but one side was bent about 4mm :(

Where the frame is joined by spot welding on the front down tubes I brazed the joint up to stop the flexing ......hopefully

Had it grit blasted with superfine grade but hell, didnt expect this. no worries though I,ll braze in a replacement piece.

So drilled a hole in the headstock area and filled the frame with a syringe and squirted the kill rust stuff in , then turned the frame all over the place to get a good coat on the inside .....hopefully

The frame looks really rusty so I,ll coat the inside of the tubes with this kill rust then get it grit blasted and two pack primer.

Some brackets and bits to cut off and clean up the frame........I'll leave the large side stand lug on as after the salt I may use it as a street bike and need a side stand.

Start with an old frame from the scrap pile.
It is badly rusted and looks bent, some wheels from an yamaha XJ900
two old engines donated to the cause by a friend Gazz.
