It's hard to come up with a valid argument not to include something that improves safety.
It wouldn't necessarily have to be the actual HANS system would it?

The rule book is only there to make the cars (and bikes) safe.

With the diff does it need to have full floating hubs???like a truck diff It's my understanding that you can have "non retaining" axles (ala GM 12 bolt). The have to be semi floating (ala Ford 9 inch) or full floating. So to answer your question no I don't think so. Get an official answer...

You might get some ideas for cages, gearboxes etc.

I don't have an SCTA rule book but I think they use 46.000-61.999 for I and 62.000 to 92.999 for H.
So I imagine similar would apply to DLRA.

I was looking through the records from speedweek at Bonneville. Apparently the record Norm was chasing (A/GR) got bumped from 236.741mph to 253.449mph. That's one fast brick. Also of note with the roadsters was BMR racing. They didn't back it up but they ran 291.113mph in C/FR. An even faster brick!!

Whataya plans for a CNC. I guy I work with is trying to build a CNC machine at home using parallel kinematics. Looks good in CAD but that's as far as he's got so far.
