OK Thanks for clearing that up Ross . I think its a fair rule in the context you describe , no external sensors to change ignition timing.

So what exactly is a "Reactive Discharge Ignition "?? There is a lot of discussion on this here http://www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,12585.0.html Maybe the DLRA need to clarify this with the SCTA rules committee before electronic ignitions are banned in vintage class. regards Mal

Go to a 7 day meet as is Bonneville with two timed courses,The numbers are there and building (although they might drop for next year ) Most bikes will run short course over the timed mile anyhow, leaving lots of runs for the cars on the long course . Hey Nev , The two lakes south of Roxby Downs (Boof and Mary ) are now nearly dry. This is the first time in over 4 years there has been no water in them . From the air Island Lagoon (to the east of gairdner) has no standing water . Hopefully these are good signs . cheers Mal
