Re: Aussie Beer Guide

Our beer of choice was Coopers in the red label. The green was a close second. VB was okay, but it's like Budweiser back home. If everybody's drinking it, where's the adventure. Still not sure about the floaties in the bottom though. Say no more! That settles it, Coopers wins As for the "float...

Should I race this car?

Here is a pic of the Stamp boy's hiboy coupe back in 2001 when it ran in Gas Coupe class.

I query if there has been a rule change in the time since that meet but that car certainly had no guards.

Ah yes Fosters .

There is an old joke about this stuff that goes something like this.

Beer Guide

I'm with DirtyDave. Coopers Sparkling Ale(red label) is the go . The Pale Ale is pretty good too (green label). Both open the sluices nicely.

I was brought up to believe that the reason 4X is called that is because Queenslanders couldn't spell beer!! Hence the XXXX label ! :) :)

I think this link speaks for itself as to why the rules are the way they are.

I would like to see the Callaway go through this and see what happens. My guess is it wouldn't fare so well.

Given the apparent tidal effect caused by a full moon there will need to be a strict dress code introduced! No more runnng around in jocks! This is basically targeted toward animal as it is clear we do not need any risk of additional "full moon" activity at the lake upsetting conditiions.

That short film is contained in a DVD. I bought one of these recently off Ebay. From memory in all there are five short films on it. Some great stuff there.

Still available:

The short answer to the question: "Is the DLRA incorporated?" - Yes. I have a copy of the document. It is a basic document and no doubt fulfilled the needs of the club at its inception. Given the discussion on this thread about setting up State Divisions this has the flavour of the current...

Rainfall

With the recent rainfall in SA I have had a look at the current rainfall map with the Bureau of Meteorology. I appears there has been quite a lot of rain in outback SA. I just hope we are not going to have repeat of last year where a lot of water blew down the lake to the race venue. I hope this lin...
