Re: NSW tech Inspection Day and Meeting, Sunday February 22nd, Annangrove..

Good day, fair weather, three bikes, no cars and between 12 and 15 people at a guess.

Was nice to meet you Jamie and yes, thanks once again to Steve Muller for opening his doors to us.

Cheers,
Rob

Re: NSW tech Inspection Day and Meeting, Sunday February 22nd, Annangrove..

G'day Graeme,

We'll be there rain or shine.

No Jag, the motor is still in pieces, not sure on Bones bringing bikes. It's more the meeting and tech inspection for new vehicles so they can solve any issues before they leave rather than panic on the salt.

Cheers,
Rob

Ok, one apology and no confirmations.... is anyone coming this Sunday?

The only confirmations we have are myself, Gary Satara, Bones and Mark Dunn.

Cheers,
Rob

Re: '56 Oval

That's coming along well Mick, keep it up!

Make sure you seal your removable panel with a fireproof sealant.

Dave,

The three numbers left to right are day, year, month so that'll be 27/8/51

Cheers,
Rob

Good to see it you back again, I was only thinking about the Oval the other day and wondering where it went.

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400 E/Pro

Thanks Ross, The image I posted is just a screen shot, I can move the 3D image anyway I want to. It is an "eprt" file (a viewable version of a Solidworks file). Can that be imported into Mastercam? The Soarer lower inlet ports are rectangular, the Nissan throttle bodies are round. Worst ca...

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400 E/Pro

A day late and a dollar short.. story of my life Stayt'ie :D Thanks all the same.

I do have a mate here with a CAD/CAM machine shop at Lidcombe but didn't know his email address, such is the digital age that sending to the US was easier than chasing him down.

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400 E/Pro

v-eight.com was excellent, I am greatly saddened that it has been let go.

Lextreme is fair at best with lots of the info being unreliable.

Re: Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC400 E/Pro

Thanks Chris, This plate goes between the 1UZ lower inlet manifold and RB26DETT throttle bodies, no block or heads required. I have a friend in the US with software, I should have the CAD file back soon he says. He is also going to price getting it supplied and cut there given we'll be seeing him in...
