Re: Shoei Motorcycle Helmet for the Lake.
I was going to include that but after an argument with my brother, I found out it is the only family heirloom left that I haven't flogged off to pay for my racing.

Re: which fuels are legal
Thanks Greg This is an issue that comes out of adopting the SCTA Rule Book. It will take a bit of time to clear this up but is not impossible with some guidance from SCTA. Is it possible, for 2012 at least, a short list of some of the known Race Gas we can use could be posted eg: RF100 aka "AVGA...

Re: which fuels are legal
There in lies the problem The question on this post is, what Gas/Petrol can be used in Gas Class? I understand Premium Unleaded is OK, but what about the VP C16's or E85 etc Racing Gasoline's. I don't want to know about the DC of fuel. It is the 2012 Rule Book that outlines what is required and the ...

Re: which fuels are legal
I would also like to know. I will be doing the final engine set up soon and like Dave I run a 2 stroke and I want to run a Race Type Fuel. There was some discussion about this when the new rule book was adopted as Event Fuel was mentioned. http://www.dlra.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1632&am...

Re: Record Updates
According to "The Rule Book" 1.G RECORD RUNS: 1.G.1 One Way Record Runs The DLRA recognises 2 sorts of records in this rule book, which have differing qualification and participant requirements. The least onerous record is a one way record. This is the highest recorded speed attained by a ...

Re: APS/G 250
Hey Dave The Glass Work is next so lets hope it stays "sleek". I tried to make as simple as I could so it will hopefully push the air around and over me. I am getting a Windscreen made up to fit. I got the Jolly Moto Pipes that exit each side so they can fit inside the tail. Stay Cool Pete...

Now that I have finally decided how I am going to approach the Body Work I got a few Pics. I have made a Ally Tube and Flat to help get the shape I want to the 6mm Divinicell. It bolts to the Seat Frame. The Front is next. http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/af354/RGV866/th_AMS250a.jpg http://i1023....

APS/G 250
Hi another Smoker at The Lake. I ran my Suzuki RGV 250 at the Lake in 2010. I ran in M/G 250 and had a ball. This year I made some changes to try and push the speed a bit higher and have a trouble free run in 2011. But as we know that did not happen. So I am having a crack at moving to APS/G ...
