Re: WA rookie team have a Hudson Terraplane
That is a fantastic amount of work in such a short period. The lines look great. Yes the hammer and dolly work is a killer. I had zero experience when I started and I admit to using a bit of bog on the roof. Remember 'weight is your friend' on the salt. That is my excuse anyway. Good idea with the f...

Salt fever has only begun to bite.

Re: WA rookie team have a Hudson Terraplane
This project is a real turn on! You are so lucky to have willing and capable blokes with the enthusiasm to get the job done quick. Mine took eight years. That was eight years of dreams and nightmares. I am not sure how you can build the cage and do the chop later. Don't forget the head restraints as...

...and your still asking questions? It is just being put back together now. It will go back into my Falcon two door, 'OVAKIL' and I will get it back on the rubber road to freedom! ...so easy? no, not really. Getting it legally registered these days will be a bit of an effort but ... with a piece fro...

and I was racking my brain with Led Zepplin, ACDC, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple lyrics. Miley- I don't think so. Back to business- I am dropping off a Chev to Toploader Lakewood scattershield, a clutch/pressure plate and a ring gear for Jeff Dellow to do some work on so I can mate the Doug Nash 4+1 gearb...

Re: Shaguar
Work has started on Shaguar Mark 2. I have purchased a stroker Tom Walkinsaw Racing TWR crank that should give me 7 to 7.3 litres after rebore. Exact combo is yet to be determined but I will be using 6 inch Chev rods with forged Pistons. Still yet to decide whether centrifugal supercharger or twin t...

Most of the volunteers and officials were either still working or traveling today and will need to get home before they post anything on the forum.

Re: Trent Clare
I spoke to Colin at the end of last week. Trent is in rehab still but in Broken Hill hospital so close to home and family after spending many months in Adelaide. Trent did go back to the farm for a visit and did do a bit of driving which was surprising. His co ordination seems to be getting better b...

Re: Rule change proposal- weight sheet as part of scrutineers
Sorry guys, I have been flat out at work. The business has been purchased by a large listed Wa company so there has been lots of distractions for me.
I am still keen to have something available as guidance for 200mph plus vehicles. Markings (CP and CG) on the car are a great idea Rod.
