A few of us will probably be having New year at the Lake (again) while carrying out a few chores to make sure the 2006 meeting happens with a bit more comfort and facilities. Once again all the best ...

ICE for 2006

Hi All!, It would appear some of our far flung friends have a requirement for large quantities of "ICE" (hard water not the drug) at our next meet. GOOD news , I have been able to get TREND ICE from Pt Pirie to attend our March 2006 meeting with no less than a 10,000kg truck of bagged ice, and more ...

New DLRA campsite

Hi MOPAR, There are no bookings required for the DLRA campsite but you need to be pretty much self sufficient for the week. Limited water (you should bring your own drinking water if possible) that is if you drink water! Electricity, toilets and showers are available but sometimes require a wait (Lo...

Almost new camp working bee 2005

Hi All!, DLRA camp working bee dates have been set! Monday 26th December 2005 for approx 3-5days. Bring your tools and some beer! It usually gets pretty hot up there over Xmas and you might get thirsty! No really gut busting stuff to do this time (most of that has already been done!) Just the niceti...

All, The Xmas break has been deemed as most convenient by most who have indicated they will be attending the working bee. Rob Carroll, at the last general meeting in Victoria, had indications from most that they would attend over Xmas. Dates Monday 26th December through to whenever. (Approx 3-5 days...

Flathead aka Dooley, If you are looking for fridge space at the lake I can help u out but if you need fridge space from Adelaide to the Lake, as has been suggested, you might be better hiring one for the week. New Camp (Well almost new) working bee

Hi All!, Rob Carroll is talking about another working bee at the almost new camp either in October (cooler) or over the Xmas break (a lot of companies close down over the Xmas period) whichever is most convenient to the majority. My preference is over the Xmas period. Jobs that will require doing: 1...
