Well, still carrying on with the roof chop, just about sick of it now.We started the cage today, feel free to put your 2 bobs worth in. You can see the large plates we are bolting directly to the chassis. we decided just to cut holes through the floor and well make some cover plates later to fill in...

This is our motor as of right now. Its been in my grandfathers old HG Holden, had a brief stint in an altered drag car and i thought it best to pull it apart and give it a good go over before its committed to the Hudson. And we had a couple blow-ins as well today so we kept them out of the beer fridge and put them to work filling in all the holes in the firewall. Cheers Adam and Clive.

rear quarter windows

lot of time goes into these, glad im not building a show car. Everyone always goes on about how thick the steel is in old cars. Well it is in some places but when they press these curved bits out the get as thin as 0.6 on parts.

Roof Chop

Well convinced the guys we can do this (none of us have any experience before) and with more confidence on my face than i really have, i started to chop up a perfectly good terraplane body. Yea that was Steve, he drpoped by showed us what his Torrana was made of and donated a front sway bar to the hudson. Look forward to seeing the bike.

After reading the http://www.landracing.com forum for half the day im just gonna go with max 3" chop and dont lean the windscreen back at all. No arguments then. I found my exact same question a couple times and couldnt really see any evidence otherwise.

Chris, Dave Thanks for the pointers. Ive only managed to find these but in my opinion a bit too wide for the front, I would be looking at a 7 inch wide rim probably, would rather a max of 6". 195/50R15 w rated @270kph167mph Potenza Adrenalin RE003 bridgestone or Nitto NT555. Anyone else know of...
