Re: Motorcycle build 250 tips
Hi Darren,
you are in good hands with the people you have commenting. To go 100mph without a fairing you will need 23-25 rear wheel HP. We ran 94.5mph with 21hp and then 106mph with 28hp unfaired.
Good luck.
PS remember to read the rule book.

Re: Salt Shaker T500
Great work guys on the build. As the guys all say run it rich (a couple of jets more then you think) you can always come back. A mile pull flat out on the salt in the high temps sure does increase the heat and stress. Our bike started with a 4 plate clutch and now has seven and shims and better spri...

Re: Lake Condition for March 2015
I would like to thank Dave for his efforts all week on the Long Course (track 2). I made sure every day we ran we took him a snack and a drink. # The single line system is great, we had no problems with this. # Someone raised the point of slower vehicles running on the long track, well we do that, b...

Re: reconsider please
Ronnie, That is something we would also consider running at. The cost maybe high, but so is a trip to the US. I do like the idea of setting a world record on Aussie Salt. So if there is any movement forward here please keep us in the loop. Lynchy, Thanks for your reply also, it sure will ease the wa...

Re: reconsider please
On the subject of timing gear being on the GPS course, will a record be able to be set there, as in the diagram for the setup of next years speed week the timing area is only shown as 1/4 mile long. For records to be set will this area be increased to the required measured mile. ? We are happy to ru...

Re: Supercharged CBR250 build
Hi Gen, We use a O2 sensor from "Fast" (fuel-air-spark-tech). Without it our speed week would have been different as you just don't get the runs to check all. The gauge works great, their customer service however is shit house, still waiting on replies from many email questions sent months...

Re: APS/BF- ???
Our 100cc has under 60 degrees and 3inches of trail - 95mph stable as the queen Mary. My dad's double triumph had 50 degrees and 6 inches trail good for 200mph. Ran 166mph 1/4 mile.
