Re: RULE 3.I.1 Fuel Shut-off

An LPG safety switch is what I've always used. Simple if the coils not pulsing it swiches off.
About $30 from any LPG supplier.

Re: 2008 engine build

Tiny a good battery drill should spin fast enough for what you want. A bit more control with it too. You can use a hand held speed brace if thats all you have.

Re: BOSS STREAMLINER S/UF 925

I'm with you on crank weight Ross. We don't need fast accel rate so the crank is better with weight so you don't comprimise the balance. Lighter reciprocating stuff is great. Titanium whatever you can afford, retainers, valves, rods if you've got deep pockets. :D

I can't see anything in gas coupe that says you can't cut the frame. Common sense of coarse with stength. My opinion only
Good motor choice. Best bang for your buck these days.

Re: Brakes, how much do I need?

I run discs on the rear only on the ute and deliberately "knock" the pads off as l drive to the startline and not use the brakes before the run. As the Rev says when l lift my foot at 175 it scrubs speed all by itself quite well. I don't use the chute I can't see fronts only being a proble...

Re: Shaguar

800kgs. Even 400kg would take a lot of planning in the early part of a build. You can't just add 800kg to a sedan type vehicle and have 1 somewhere to put it and 2 get it in the right spot. I've sort of come to the 60% on the rear idea after last time l ran with traction issues. We are rank ametuers...
