yes - they colour that image to look like it would if you took a photo. So the blue is water which in reality is cooler readings of the surface due to moisture.

My welding is pretty bad - so I started developing the leak tester on bits that a really good welder did to make sure the system worked... The first thing I found was lots of leaks in the really good weldsRGV wrote:Check my welds?? What are you saying Paul?

Dave - I almost have my smoke/leak tester finished - happy to lend it to you if you want to check the welds (not sure of logistics though). You can also hack together something with an eBay Sphygmomanometer and use soapy water instead of smoke to find pressure leaks.
