Thanks for the update.
I cant believe our bad luck!
You and the other key members who make this event happen need to be congratulions on the great organisational and communication skills demonstrated in getting the info to the rest of the membership in such a timely manner.

Well done

Thanks for the early advice regarding the cancellation Rod. I could not make it to the Vic meeting today as I had just flown in from overseas.

Was any decision made regarding a proposed alternative date for 2008 or is all over til 2009?

Please some one tell me we have nothing to worry about and the rain is just a passing shower!!

I am starting to get a complex. Since I decided to go to the lake it gets wetter the closer we get to the race date

Hopefully all will be ok when I get back from overseas in a week

Is there any likelyhood of the "full leather" rule being changed before the event this year? I just realised the new Alpine Star leathers I bought for 2006 will not meet the new rule as they have breathing material under the arms and in the crotch area as well as flexible knee panels. I wi...

Ben you are right about your description of the bike, basically they were top heavy and needed a lot of revs before anything happened, Once I removed the s...

The RZ originally come with a fairing as standard but I am running a later model race fairing and seat body work. Wha class does that make the bike? MPS/G P/G M/G If I run the bike with no fairing what cl...

Re: lectron carbs

Hi Ben, Have you perfected the carburation on the Lake G bike first ? I did three major changes to the Triumph before Mangalore and we all know how crappy it performed. I forgot the motto "one step at a time" Good luck on the Lake. Cheers Spook. As a first timer at this type of thing can ...
