That first coat of gloss can be quite disappointing after hours of filling and rubbing back. I know I was first time around. Looks like you have done a great job of getting it straight.

Put some thought into the cage re taxi bar, head restraint, door intrusion, larry bar, harness mounts etc. The rule book is not very clear on gussets but you will need them from the main hoop to the taxi bar at least. I agree. I think building the extractors was one of the most rewarding parts of the Shaguar project. Get your diameters and runner lengths right, buy the right size bends and tube, take a deep breathe and go for it!

I have taken the Kimba road in the last couple of years and I believe it is miles better and miles shorter if you are coming in from WA. I can send you a turn by turn kilometre reading from Kimba to the DLRA turn off for the woodshed camp if you want.
